Wedding & Events Manager (M/F)



JOB DESCRIPTION
Offrant 17 hectares de paysages luxuriants, délimités par des étendues de sable fin blanc et un lagon turquoise, ainsi qu’une une vue imprenable sur l’emblématique Mont Otemanu, le St Regis Bora Bora***** avec 89 villas, 4 restaurants et  2 bars est une adresse incontournable du luxe à l’état pur.

 
MAIN MISSION
 
The Event & Wedding Manager is responsible for all its event and wedding operations and administrative tasks (before/during/after the wedding).
The Event & Wedding Manager assists the DOSM and all DOSs as needed.

I. RUNNING OF THE BRIDAL BOUTIQUE:
 
  • Supervise daily operations for the running of The Bridal Boutique including all events and weddings at the Resort.
  • Manage The Bridal Boutique’s team in terms of scheduling / planning, responsible for the team’s well being, training and productivity as well as HR duties
  • Responsible for maximizing The Bridal Boutique’s revenue, including budgeting, tracking and accounting duties
  • Optimize upselling opportunities
  • Liaise with the Sales & Marketing team for the creation and development of The Bridal Boutique product (Romance-Weddings). This includes assisting to the DOS and DOSM for PR, Marketing, Social Media and other similar duties.
  • Maintain a good partnership with the department’s vendors and third parties
II. RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL WEDDING & GROUP PLANNING AND OPERATIONAL COORDINATION:
  • Liaise and maintain good partnerships and relationships with in-house departments, vendors, third parties and Clients
  • Handle daily emails with in-house departments, vendors, third parties and Clients
  • Maximize revenue generating opportunities
  • In charge of contracting and administrative duties with vendors, third parties and Clients
Manage all wedding and event related operations personally and coordination, including planning Guests’ weddings, group resume… 

III. IN CHARGE OF RETAIL SALES AT THE BRIDAL BOUTIQUE:
  • Manage and control stock for all items available for sale at The Bridal Boutique
  • Maximize revenue generating opportunities
  • Supervise the daily running of The Bridal Boutique’s retail operations, including cleaning, maintenance and other duties involved
 

PROFILE
REQUIRED SKILLS
Good Management practices are expected for this role including leading by example and taking responsibility for the team.
Proven Sales abilities are expected.
Excellent French and English oral and written communication skills and advanced computer skills are essential in order to fulfill the demands of the job description.
The Wedding & Events  Manager will ideally have a hospitality-related qualification and/or background.
Fluency in additional languages and/or knowledge of graphic design would be advantageous.
Must demonstrate good working knowledge of the software used in the Wedding & Events Department
