Senior sales executive ebc (M/F)

The Senior Sales Executives handles incoming leads designated by the hotels participating in the Paris Sales Office (EBC) and maximizes revenue through increased bookings across multiple properties and brands. Handles customer inquiries within predefined parameters and communicates booking information to hotel service departments. Actively upsells each business opportunity to maximize revenue for individual properties. Aligns customer profile with the appropriate product; Achieves personal and team related revenue goals. Ensures business is turned over properly and in a timely fashion for proper service delivery in accordance with brand standards. She/he support s the sales manager in her/his regular missions. He/she could be involved in trainings, reporting or tracking in order to be ready for sales Manager Position.
Major Responsibilities

• Maximizes revenue through increased booking across multiple brands/hotels within the Marriott Parisian Cluster.
• Provides an efficient and effective process to quickly handle customer inquiries within predefined parameters
• Ability to understand different strategy and to cross sell from one property to the other
• Answer all group requests promptly in a businesslike and friendly manner with emphasis on benefit feature selling
• Suggest positive alternatives and ensure that business booked is within hotels Parameters
• Follow-up each booking with the customer and enter appropriate comments in the activities
• Produces contracts and get it signed back (proforma invoice)
• Use the appropriate procedure to transfer the business to the hotel
• Follow-up the site inspections related to specific group requests within the hotel
• Follow up of budget and Forecast for ROOMS and F&B in coordination with the revenue and the hotel sales leader with the information provided by the champion
• Sell hotel promotions and packages
• Data base creation, development and keep it update
• Maintain all sales documentation accuracy
• Update snapshot on regular basis to facilitate the forecast accuracy
• Use the right procedure to turn down a booking
• Achieved personal and team revenue goals
• Ability to develop relationship e.g. associates, Hotels, customers, vendors
• Ability to train the team and to show directions
• As champion of one hotel organize monthly the group review with the hotel in order to follow-up and to communicate with them about the bookings (groups and catering). If necessary participate to the sales strategy meeting.
• Also communicate to the team the information which could influenced the selling, as the catering forecast, market share….etc..
• As champion of one hotel, communicate all information to the EBC team and update it in the system

Candidate Profile
A/ Previous Position requirement
• 2-3 year experience in Hotel Industry
• Experience in Reactive Sales Department
• Fluent in French speaking and writing
• English speaking and writing

• Proficiency in meeting rooms set ups, audio-visual equipment and other support Service
• Problem solving skill
• Organization skill
• Sense of priorities Knowledge of the competition and hotelier environment
• Analytical skill

B/ Technical skills

• Knowledge of group business
• Knowledge of all Marriott Lodging products, cultures and brand strategies
• Knowledge of contractual agreements and legal implications
• Knowledge of food trends, food and beverage composition and menu planning
• Knowledge of operation and associated challenges for all brands
• Software and system knowledge (Opera Sales&Catering, Group quote, Marsha, Word and Excel)
